The UK Address Generator is a free online random data tool based on public geographic information from the four constituent countries of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. With a single click, it completes random UK address generation, and the output street, city, region, and postcode conform to UK address format specifications. The tool also provides UK identity information and credit card information generation capabilities, combining complete fields such as name, gender, date of birth, NINO National Insurance number, phone, house number, and credit card number, and supports one-click switching between England (ENG), Scotland (SCT), Wales (WLS), Northern Ireland (NIR), and random regions. As a lightweight UK Address Generator, it solves the pain points of manual fabrication of UK addresses such as postcode format errors, mismatches between cities and postcodes, and high duplication of test data. It is suitable for front-end form integration, e-commerce checkout page demos, database batch filling, UI prototype design, and API regression testing. All data is randomly generated locally in the front end, intended for software testing, form filling, interface demos, privacy replacement, and fictional content creation.
The tool covers all four constituent countries of the UK, and can generate addresses targeted by region, making it convenient to quickly locate by business scenario:
England (ENG): The largest and most populous constituent country of the UK, including major cities such as London, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Bristol, Leicester, Coventry, and Nottingham. Postcode areas cover major regions such as SW, SE, NW, NE, W, E, N, S, EC, WC, M, B, and L, with standardized street naming and rich samples.
Scotland (SCT): Located in the north of the island of Great Britain, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee, Inverness, Perth, Stirling, Ayr, Falkirk, and Dumfries. Postcode areas are mainly G, EH, AB, DD, IV, PH, FK, KA, KY, ML, PA, DG, TD, HS, ZE, and KW, among which IV, HS, ZE, and KW are exclusive to the Highlands and Islands.
Wales (WLS): Located in the southwest of the island of Great Britain, including Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Wrexham, Barry, Caerphilly, Rhondda, Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil, and Aberystwyth. Postcode areas are mainly CF, SA, NP, LL, SY, and LD, among which LL is exclusive to North Wales.
Northern Ireland (NIR): Located in the northeast of the island of Ireland, including Belfast, Derry, Lisburn, Newry, Bangor, Craigavon, Castlereagh, Carrickfergus, Ballymena, and Coleraine. The postcode area is uniformly BT, the only postcode prefix in the region.
Each generation outputs a complete set of address and identity fields. Each field follows common format specifications, and can remain geographically consistent with the selected region and city:
The core area of the page consists of a control panel and a results display, with a clear and intuitive workflow:
① Select Region: The top provides five region cards — "Random Region," "England," "Scotland," "Wales," and "Northern Ireland." "Random Region" is selected by default. Click any card to switch, and the selected card will be highlighted with a blue border.
② Generate Address: Click the "Generate Address" button, and the system will randomly combine a record based on the selected region's public geographic information, simultaneously generating name, phone, email, NINO National Insurance number, and credit card information, with results displayed in four sections: "Basic Information / Address Details / Identity Information / Credit Card Information."
③ Copy / Export / Favorite: Click the "Copy Result" button to copy the current record at once in "Label: Value" format; click "Export Excel" to save it as a CSV file; click "Favorite Address" to save the record to the browser's local storage. Click "View Favorites" to switch to the favorites list view. Each record supports single-item copy and delete, and can also be exported to Excel in batch.
All favorites data is stored locally in the browser via localStorage and will remain after the page is closed, with nothing uploaded to any server.
The data output by this tool is simulated data with formats that conform to UK address specifications and content that is random and virtual. Street names, cities, regions, postcodes, and phone area codes are all generated based on public geographic information, and the geographic correspondences and coding rules conform to UK address formats; names, dates of birth, NINO National Insurance numbers, credit card numbers, CVV, and other fields are all generated by random algorithms. All data is randomly generated locally in the front end, intended for software testing, form filling, interface demos, privacy replacement, and fictional content creation.
The UK Address Generator is a free online tool that helps users quickly generate sample data conforming to UK address format specifications. The tool supports the four constituent countries of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, covering major cities such as London, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Belfast, and can generate complete addresses including house number, street, city, region, and postcode. All data is randomly generated locally in the front end, intended for software testing, form filling, interface demos, privacy replacement, and fictional content creation.
The UK postcode format is "outward code + inward code," separated by a space, for example M7 3DR, EH11 1BS, CF10 1AW. The outward code consists of 1-2 letters plus 1-2 digits, and the inward code is 1 digit plus 2 letters. The postcodes generated by this tool all follow this format and strictly correspond to the city and region.
The UK phone number format is "area code + 9 digits," for example London is 0207 XXX XXXX, Edinburgh is 0131 XXX XXXX, and mobile numbers are 07XXX XXXXXX. The phone area codes generated by this tool match the selected region.
NINO (National Insurance Number) is the UK National Insurance number, with the format "2 letters + 6 digits + 1 letter," such as AB 12 34 56 C. Prefixes cannot use prohibited combinations such as BG, GB, KN, NK, NT, TN, and ZZ. The NINO generated by this tool all follow this rule and are for development testing only.
All credit card numbers are randomly generated using the Luhn algorithm and only conform to card number format specifications. These card numbers are suitable for UI demos, form filling, front-end testing, and other scenarios, and can be used to validate card number validation, card type recognition, expiration date, and CVV and other front-end logic.
