About the US Address Generator

The US Address Generator is a free online random data tool based on public geographic information from all 50 US states. With a single click, it performs US address random generation, and the output street, city, state, and zip code formats conform to US address formats. The tool also provides US identity generation and credit card information generation capabilities, and can combine complete fields such as name, gender, date of birth, SSN, phone area code, house number, and credit card number; its tax-free state mode (US Address Generator tax-free state) can switch with one click to Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon, the 5 states with no sales tax, making it convenient to construct test cases with zero tax. As a lightweight address generator tool specialized for US scenarios, it solves the pain points of manual address fabrication such as format errors, mismatches between zip codes and cities, and high duplication of test data. It is suitable for front-end form integration, e-commerce checkout page demos, database batch filling, UI prototype design, and API regression testing. All data is randomly generated locally in the front end, suitable for development testing, form testing, UI demos, data anonymization, and game/fiction creation.

Which states does the US Address Generator support for address generation?

The tool covers all 50 US states and the District of Columbia, and can be quickly filtered by geographic region, making it convenient to generate addresses in a targeted way for business scenarios:

Tax-Free States: Alaska (AK), Delaware (DE), Montana (MT), New Hampshire (NH), Oregon (OR). These 5 states have a state-level sales tax of 0, and they are the core of the US Address Generator's tax-free state feature, commonly used for tax-free state checkout testing and tax comparison demos.

Midwest: Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas. Street naming rules are consistent, suitable for batch generation of structurally regular test data.

South: Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas. Includes populous states such as Texas and Florida, with the richest address samples.

What fields does the US Address Generator support generating?

Each generation outputs a complete set of address and identity fields. Each field follows common format specifications, and can remain geographically consistent with the selected state and city:

  • Full Name Randomly combined from common English first names and surnames, such as John Smith, Emily Johnson.
  • Gender Outputs Male / Female, roughly consistent with the name style.
  • Date of Birth Format is MM/DD/YYYY, with age falling between 18 and 65, such as 03/14/1987.
  • Social Security Number (SSN) Nine digits, format AAA-GG-SSSS, such as 452-88-1234; the area segment will not contain invalid values starting with 000, 666, or 9.
  • Phone Number 10 digits, with the area code corresponding to a city in the selected state, format (212) 555-0134.

  • County The county to which the city belongs, such as Los Angeles County.
  • Card Number 16 digits, conforming to the Luhn checksum algorithm, such as 4539 1488 0343 6467.

  • CVV Security Code 3 digits; if the card type is American Express, 4 digits are output.

How do you use the US Address Generator?

The core area of the page consists of two subcomponents: the address generation card (UsAddrGen) and the state list grid (UsStateGrid). The former handles generation, copying, and favoriting of a single record, while the latter provides quick entry points for all 50 states.

Address Generation Card (UsAddrGen): At the top is the state selector, which supports keyword search, and you can also directly click the "Tax-Free States" tab to filter out the 5 tax-free states with one click; in the middle is the "Generate Address" main button, as well as "Identity Information" and "Credit Card Information" toggles, so you can decide as needed whether to include these fields; after generation, each field has an independent copy icon on the right, and clicking it copies a single value; at the bottom are the "Favorite Address" and "View Favorites" buttons. Favorite records are written to the browser's localStorage, and support one-click export as an Excel file.

State List Grid (UsStateGrid): Displays all 50 US states in card form. Clicking any state jumps to that state's dedicated page, directly generating US address random results for the corresponding state.

Typical Workflow: ① Choose the target state in the state selector, or click the "Tax-Free States" tab for quick positioning; ② Turn the identity information and credit card information toggles on or off; ③ Click "Generate Address" to get a complete set of data; ④ Use the copy icon on the right side of a field to take a single value, or click "Favorite Address" to save the entire record; ⑤ In "View Favorites", export to Excel in batch to complete batch data preparation.
